“Just as hope rings through laughter, it can also shine through tears.”

-Maya Angelou

Both the laughter and the tears of life present opportunities to see the strength within ourselves while understanding the connectedness we share with others.  During life’s challenges, a professional perspective in the safety of a therapeutic relationship can help you make the positive change and renewal you are seeking. Therapy is a great place to develop insight, resolve struggles, and enhance the quality of your relationships.

I am a Licensed Clinical Marriage and Family Therapist with prior experience in child development, teen issues and parenting skills.  I have certification in adoption-competency as well as training in play therapy and loss/trauma.  As an associate at The Thusong – Place of Help, I offer caring psychotherapy for adults, couples, children and families.  Clinical focus is on the individual and broadens to include the role of primary relationships such as spouse, sibling, child, and/or parent. Goals are specific, attainable and concerned with long-term well-being.

I strive to collaboratively help clients resolve what may at first seem unresolvable, drawing from therapeutic orientations including cognitive-behavioral, strategic, strength-based, and systems theories. I look forward to being of service to you. Please call for a free 15 minute phone consultation regarding your situation.
